NEW WORK BY KITTY NORTH
ALL PAINTINGS GREAT AND SMALL
Following the success of Chelsea: River to Rooftops, Kitty North returns with an exhibition of colourful Yorkshire Dales landscapes alongside her Chelsea canvases.
When the coronavirus pandemic hit, Kitty found herself locked down at the home studio she created in the Dales village of Arncliffe. It provided a peaceful haven amidst the chaotic news that unfolded. All of a sudden, paintings filled with tourists milling around Arncliffe’s Village Green drawn by the magic of James Herriot and Emmerdale, were replaced with locals contemplating their isolation, alongside the sheep and cattle that inhabit the Dales.
There is space in all our hearts for a little wilderness and the glorious escapism that only art can bring. Lose yourself in the wilds of Littondale, with rolling hills and winding rivers, whilst a calm prevails in the Wharfedale villages of Burnsall and Grassington, and around the iconic Priory at Bolton Abbey.

During these challenging times, we have options for viewing the work.
Regardless of what happens with restrictions we will be making the entire exhibition available ONLINE right here on Kitty's website. Watch this space!
