KITTY NORTH IS A PAINTER OF PEOPLE AND PLACES

Kitty lives and works at Arncliffe, deep in the Yorkshire Dales. At the age of 12, whilst painting a view of Ingleborough from a window in her home, North realised she would spend her life being an artist. In 1980 she plunged into London, attending Chelsea School of Art, followed by further study in Brighton and Manchester.

Kitty North's work has been widely exhibited and collected around the world. Recent years have been full of many different projects across the UK, including multi-part works for Salts Mill, Chatsworth House and Bolton Abbey.

Prospect Gallery in Arncliffe (near Skipton) and newly refurbished Art House (recently featured in The Times) are open on select days and by appointment.

To arrange an appointment call 07894 797300.

Further paintings can be viewed at The Devonshire Fell in Burnsall, The Devonshire Arms Hotel Bolton Abbey, and Salts Mill diner in Saltaire.
